Bill coaches athletes that are self motivated and ready to make big improvements and take on new challenges. All Cyclist and Triathletes are required to have a power meter. Bill is a certified Power Meter Coach and uses these devices to help you race and train to maximize your potential.
Initial Consultation. One time Fee of $250 for each new athlete upon signing up.
This is in addition to your first months coaching fee and will be paid prior to work beginning. Bill will meet with you as a new athlete for a minimum of one hour to discuss your upcoming season and the races that you would plan on doing. Discuss previous history of racing and training. He will then send you a series of test workouts to do to see where your fitness is currently, then based on this he will build your Annual Training Plan ATP to suit your requirements for racing, training and a balanced life at home. This process can take several weeks of work and communication prior to establishing your Training Plan. You will then be given a personalized Training Peaks on line account where you will be uploading your daily workouts with comments so that Bill can keep abreast of your progress relative to the plan he has provided.
Level 1 is just right for someone that really wants the very most out of their training. This is unlimited emails and 2 phone calls per week. This level is a coach that is by your side every step of the way giving you all the help and guidance that you would need to reach that goal you are training for. A detailed training plan that incrementally builds you up at the rate that is right for you. More when you need it and less when it is time to recover and build again. We delve into the psychological and nutritional aspects of training and racing at a high level. Finally a taper that is engineered specifically for your body for a “PEAK PERFORMANCE” on race day.
Level 2 is for the athlete that needs a little less attention. One phone call per week is all they need and 2 emails per week is what they need to answer questions and keep them on track. Providing a long range plan for getting them to that key race or event will be the focus of our plan. Weekly detailed analysis of the previous weeks workouts and adjustments to the following week as necessary.
This plan is for an athlete that just needs a plan and wants to review it every two weeks with the coach. They are very self motivated and are committed to a full season of training and racing. They need high level advice and tips and need limited time from their coach. Twice per Month phone calls to review the plan and once per week emails will be plenty for this person.
